Butyl Rubber has excellent resistance to strong acid solutions. It has lowest water permeability among all rubber lining materials and can serve up to 100 °C. Butyl rubber is exceptionally resistant to gaseous diffusion. It is excellent choice for scrubber lining, piping for absorbers etc.
